
Meet the Falcons: Nicole Smith
MEQUON, Wis. – Over the next few weeks, CUW Athletics will be publishing a "Meet the Falcons" series to better know the support staff around the CUW Athletic Department.
Today we start the series with one of our athletic trainers, Nicole Smith.
Job Title: Athletic Trainer
How long have you worked at CUW: Two years
Hometown: Slinger, Wisconsin
College: UW-Oshkosh for my undergrad and UNC-Greensboro for my graduate degree.
Favorite Thing About CUW: I love the staff that I work with both in the athletic training room and the athletic department.
Why CUW: The atmosphere of Division III athletics was something I was looking to get back to and I wanted to work with athletes that play for the love of the game.
Favorite Food: Lasagna
Favorite Thing To Do Outside of Work: Hang with my dogs (walking, cuddling, taking them to the beach etc.)
Favorite Movie: Tangled or any other Disney movie
Favorite Professional Team or Athlete: Green Bay Packers
Ideal Vacation Spot: Anywhere warm with a beach
If You Could Have a Super Power What Would It Be and Why: Teleportation because I hate traveling and commuting and it would allow me to see the world.
Favorite Memory in Athletics: Being a part of the great run CUW women's soccer had during their 2019 season. Watching the athletes celebrate upon their conference win was an exciting thing to watch and knowing I had a role in that by helping all of the athletes stay healthy.
