Men’s Hockey announces fall semester schedule

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW men's hockey team has announced it will drop the puck on the 2020-21 season on Friday, Oct. 23 against the USA Hockey's National Team Development Program U-18 Team.

"We are excited for this opportunity," said head coach Bill Horton. "This will be a great opportunity for our program and an exciting start to the season.

The Team USA squad trains young players who have National Hockey League aspirations and mostly all are recruited to NCAA Division I programs.

The game will be played in USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The Falcons will also play a pair of NCHA foes in Adrian and Trine for four non-conference games.

The Blue and White will travel to Adrian on Thursday, Nov. 5. The Bulldogs will then travel to the Ozaukee Ice Center on Nov. 7.

CUW will then travel to Trine to take on the Thunder on Nov. 12 and the Thunder will rumble over to Wisconsin to play on Nov. 14.

Additional dates will be determined later and the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association will soon announce a conference slate after postponing its season until after Jan. 1, 2021.
