Braydon Barker Named Male Career Achievement Award Winner

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin Athletics Department has announced Braydon Barker of the men's hockey program as the 2020-21 Male Career Achievement Award recipient.

A senior from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, Braydon Barker was a four-year letter winner for the CUW men's ice hockey program. He played in 93 games for the Falcons and finished as the program's all-time leader in points with 92. He is also the school record holder with 76 assists.

In 2018, Barker became the first All-American in program history when he was named to the AHCA/CCM All-American Second Team. That year, he also earned NCHA All-Conference honors and was named to the NCHA All-Freshman Team as he set the program record for assists in a season. He broke that record again in the 2019-20 season with 28 assists and established a new school record for points in a season with 34. Barker closed his career with another NCHA All-Conference selection and helped the Falcons claim their first division title in program history with one goal and 25 assists.

This week, we will continue to announce the rest of the 2020-21 CUW Athletics Awards.
