Field Hockey Secures Program Record 12 SAA Academic Honor Roll Honorees

ATLANTA – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) released its 2023 Fall Semester Academic Honor Roll.

"This is an amazing accomplishment for the team," head coach Samantha Schoessow said. "Our team works hard in the classroom and on the field. To see so many of them receive the honor is great to see."

The Concordia Wisconsin field hockey program secured a program record 12 honorees onto the honor roll.

Claiming the honor for CUW were junior Paige Armijo (Reseda, Calif.), freshman Lotta Bruder (Frankfurt, Germany), sophomore Katelyn Cardinale (Mt. Laurel, N.J.), Parks Cawthray (Oakville, Ontario), senior Alex Klamm (Glen Carbon, Ill.), senior Renee Lund (Vista, Calif.), senior Abby McGue (St. Louis, Mo.), freshman Leah Mouganis (Pittsburg, Pa.), sophomore Katie Quirke (Antioch, Ill.), freshman Maddie Rider (Danville, Pa.), senior Halli Schneiderwendt (Appleton, Wis.) and senior Sophia Vandeloecht (St. Louis, Mo.).

The previous record was 10 for the 2022 team.
