Three Falcons claim All-NACC Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced the All-NACC selections for women's tennis on Monday evening. The sophomore duo of Ricki Budewitz and Jennifer Mies claimed All-NACC honors in singles play. The team of Ricki Budewitz and Julia Vitale earned All-NAC accolades in doubles play.
A sophomore from Watertown, Wisconsin, Ricki Budewitz is claiming the All-NACC honor in singles play for the second-straight year. At No. 1 singles, she posted a record of 3-2 in the NACC.
A sophomore from Brookfield, Wisconsin, Jennifer Mies is claiming her first All-NACC selection. Mies soared to at 4-1 record at No. 2 singles in NACC play and finished the fall with a 5-2 mark in singles action.
Freshman Julia Vitale of Elm Grove, Wisconsin and Ricki Budewitz are claiming their first All-NACC honor as a team. In 2018, Budewitz claimed the title with Bailey Kelly. The duo was a hard pair to knock off in 2019, with an 8-1 record at No. 1 doubles in the NACC and an overall record of 10-4 in the fall.
Concordia Wisconsin was 10-2 overall in the fall portion of the schedule and finished second in the NACC with a 9-1 record to earn the No. 2 seed in the NACC Tournament and a first-round bye.
