Wrestling Had a Season for the Books

MEQUON, Wis. - The CUW wrestling team finished the season with a winning record of 7-3 in the 2022-23 season. 

CUW collected victories over Carthage, Lakeland, Bryant & Stratton, Elmhurst, Wheaton, Aurora, and MSOE.

The Falcons had their best-ever finish at the CCIW Championships placing fourth with a score of 96.5 points. The Blue and White had individuals finish in the top six of nine of the 10 weight classes.

CUW hosted the NCAA Division III Upper Midwest Regionals where they placed 11th. 

The Falcons claimed a historical victory against the Elmhurst Bluejays for the first time since 2015.

Senior from Huntington Beach, California, Jack O'Donnell claimed the honor of NWCA NCAA Division III Scholar All-American for the second time in his career.

Jack O'Donnell was also named the 2022-23 Male Career Achievement Award recipient with a finish of 171 career takedowns. 

The Falcons return to action in November.
