Men's Track & Field Takes Sixth at NACC Championships

RIPON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's track & field team competed at the NACC Indoor Track & Field on Saturday. The Falcons finished in sixth place with 29 points. The Raiders of MSOE and Green Knights of St. Norbert shared the title with 213 points.

Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) won the 3000-meter crown with a time of 8:51.77.

Senior Konnor Kingsmore (Colorado Springs, Colo.) won the silver medal in the triple jump at 13.21 meters.

Sophomore Bernie Van Den Heuvel (Valders, Wis.) finished in fourth place in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.78.

At the shot put, senior Seth Day (Sunset Hills, Mo.) reached 12.84 meters in eighth place.

Senior Dane Tischendorf (Antigo, Wis.) placed 10th in the 400-meter dash at 53.45.

Senior Paul Witto (Charleston, Ill.) was the fastest Falcon in the 200-meter dash in 20th place at 24.15.

In the 800-meter run, junior Josh Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) placed 21st at 2:14.19.

The mile saw freshman Avery Horvath (Greenwood, Wis.) finish in 25th place at 5:10.19.

The Falcons finished ninth in the 4x400 meter relay at 3:49.04.
