Jeremy Munoz Grabs NACC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – On Tuesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its weekly student-athlete of the week honors for men's soccer. Jeremy Munoz was voted as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week by the athletic communications professionals in the conference.

A sophomore from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jeremy Munoz is claiming the honor for the first time this season and for the second time in his career.

On Friday, he posted his second shutout of the season in a 3-0 victory. He recorded four saves in the victory over Carroll to retain the Oktoberfest Cup.

He followed that up with six saves on Sunday against St. Scholastica.

Munoz and the Falcons open NACC play on Wednesday against Benedictine.
