Men's Golf Plays at Carthage on Friday

WEST DUNDEE, Ill. – The CUW men's golf team opened play at the Carthage Fall Classic on Friday afternoon at Randall Oaks Golf Club. The Falcons are in 18^th place after day one at 328 strokes. The Spartans of Aurora lead with 281 strokes.

Senior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) led the Falcons in 48^th place at 77 strokes.

In 83^rd place is freshman Francisco Ascenio Beltra (Iba, Spain) with 82 strokes.

One stroke behind is freshman Cole Shane (Park Ride, Ill.) in 88^th place.

Sophomore Joshua Samsell (Bay City, Mich.) sits in 103^rd place at 86 strokes.

Senior Nick Roberts (Milwaukee, Wis.) finished with 91 strokes in 112^th place.

Sophomore Jason Michalski (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) rounds out the flock in 116^th place at 104 strokes.

CUW closes play at Carthage on Saturday.
