Jordan Johnson Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – Jordan Johnson was named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team, announced by College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday afternoon.

"Jordan is an exceptionally hard worker on and off the court," said head coach Shawn Cassidy. " We are all proud of his efforts and the manner he has represented CUW athletics and the entire Concordia community."

A senior from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Johnson is claiming the title for the first time in his career. He started in all 12 games this season and led the Falcons with an average of 18.8 pointe per game in the 2021 season. Johnson also averaged 6.4 rebounds per game with 77 on the season. He shot a blistering 84.5 percent from the free throw line in 2021 and added 18 assists, 13 steals and three blocks to the stat sheet.

This year, Johnson became the all-time leading point scorer in program history. He broke the record in an 81-57 victory at MSOE. Breaking the record in only 92 games.

Johnson is a four-time All-NACC selection.

The Cedarburg native has a 3.70 grade-point average, with a degree in psychology.

District VI is composed of schools from Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
