MADISON, Wis. – The CUW men's basketball team fell to 2-2 on the young season with a 67-64 loss at Edgewood on Friday night.
The Falcons took a 32-29 lead into halftime on Friday, but were outscored 38-32 in the second half.
Senior Jordan Johnson (Cedarburg, Wis.) put the Falcons up 62-61 with 2:26 left on a free throw, but the Eagles would close the game on a 6-2 run.
Senior Joey Zietlow (Oak Creek, Wis.) had a game-high 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead CUW. Jordan Johnson also added 10 points, while sophomore Gabe Pruss (North Fond Du Lac, Wis.) had 13 points off the bench.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday evening.
