Madison

Bouncing back from Tuesday's loss at Lakeland, the Falcons took care of business on the road with an impressive 79-68 win over Edgewood.

Concordia (8-8 overall) got a "huge inside effort" from Cory Stark, playing in place of injured center Kyle Barth. Stark led Shawn Cassidy's team with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Concordia broke to a 41-30 halftime lead, thanks to 50% shooting, including 5 of 11 from beyond the arc over the intital 20 minutes.

The Eagles never got closer than six in the second half with the CUW lead fluctuating between 8 and 15 points for most of the half.

Skip Newton-Kemp added 14 CUW points on 5-7 shooting and Mitchell Schneider notched another 13.

"I was proud of how we responded," said Cassidy. "WE controlled the glass (41-31) and made good decisions."
