CUW Men’s Basketball bows to MSOE
Mequon
It's not how you start, but how you finish that counts. That old
adage held true Saturday afternoon as Concordia bolted to an 16-0
lead over the game's first seven minutes only to see MSOE rally for
a 63-60 victory over the Falcons.
MSOE still trailed 33-26 at the break but eliminated all of the
early deficit in the first ten minutes of the second half. The
game's final tie occurred when Tyler Granrath's layup made it 58-58
with 3:17 left. CUW got only a John Ulrich layup over the final
197 seconds.
Kyle Barth (17) and Granrath (12) led Concordia offensively but the
Raiders' Austin Meier was the player of the game with 26.
Shawn Cassidy's team is now 6-7 and 3-3 in the NAC while MSOE
improved to 2-3 in league play and 7-6 overall.
