Paul named NAC Special Teams Player of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Junior running back Joe Paul was named Northern Athletics Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday night.
Paul (West Bend, Wis.) returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown with 1:06 remaining in the game to give the Falcons (4-3, 3-1 NAC) a 23-16 road victory over Lakeland College on Saturday. The win helped CUW retain the Cheese Bowl trophy.
He ended the game with 104 kickoff return yards on two attempts and 65 yards on four punt returns.
The weekly awards is the third for the Falcons this season.
