The nationally-ranked Warhawks (34-4) tallied 4 times in the bottom of the sixth to overcome a 3-2 deficit and eventually defeat the Falcons 7-4 in game one of a doubleheader this afternoon.

Hits by the Schilter brothers brought home a first inning run for CUW but the Warhawks tied it in their half.

Dan Shea singled and eventually scored Concordia's second run in the 4th.

Whitewater got an unearned run in the fifth to tie the game 2-2 before Concordia took their final lead in the sixth when Nick Doedens singled and eventually came around on an Adam Martz hit.

After UW-W's big inning, CUW (21-15) scored one more time on a solo home run by Matt Schilter.

Joe Jagiello, getting his first start of the season for Concordia, pitched extremely well into the fateful sixth.
