Rockford pounds CUW 14-2 in nightcap

Austin Sarauer's two run homer got Concordia off to a great start in game two of Saturday's doubleheader, but Rockford hitters provided all the remaining highlights in a 14-2 rout of the Falcons.
Loser Brent Behling allowed just 5 hits and a trio of runs over the first three innings, but five Falcon relievers had trouble finding the strike zone and were scored on 11 times over the remaining 4 frames.
Preseason NAC favorite Rockford improved to 6-5 overall.
Sarauer continued his torrid 2010 pace with a 2-2 performance. He was 4-6 on the day and is hitting .500 (21-42) on the season.
The Falcons travel to MSOE for a conference twin bill today.
