A look back at 2020: June
MEQUON, Wis. – Over the next few weeks, we will be taking a look back at 2020. Through all of the ups and downs, there has been a lot to cheer about in 2020 at CUW. We continue our series today with June.
The month started with the release of the CUW Athletes of the Year Awards. Karoline Haugland (Bergen, Norway) of the women's soccer team claimed the Female Athlete of the Year Award. Jordan Johnson (Cedarburg, Wis.) of the men's basketball team was the Male Athlete of the Year.
On June 5, James Althoff of the men's volleyball program earned All-NACC First Team honors.
17 members of the CUW men's lacrosse program earned MLC All-Academic Team accolades on June 17.
The women's lacrosse team secured 10 MWLC All-Academic Team selections.
On June 25, Steven Schauer stepped down as the Director of Athletic Communications.
