Women's Lacrosse has six on MWLC All-Academic Team

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin had six student-athletes from the Women's Lacrosse program earn Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference All-Academic Team honors, the league office announced on Tuesday.

The MWLC All-Academic Team is selected at the conclusion of each academic year. The honor is given to student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. To be named to the all-academic team, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 and must have lettered during the previous season.

Honorees from CUW were freshman Nicole DeMeo (Niles, Ill.), junior Caitlin Henry (Lansing, Ill.), senior Veronika Metanova (Palatine, Ill.), sophomore Christina Pattengale (Waukesha, Wis.), freshman Jenny Rudenga (Elmhurst, Ill.), sophomore Ellie Woodman (Janesville, Wis.).

The Falcons won their third-consecutive MWLC regular season title (co-champions) with a 10-1 league record and ended with a 12-7 overall record. They set program single-season records for goals against average (7.73), which ranked 41st nationally.
