HOW IT HAPPENED
- Offense was hard to come by on Tuesday night and at times the defense was the reason. It was expected that the matchup between two of the best teams in the league would be a grind until the final horn sounded.
- Early in the second period, the Falcons began to pull away with a 10-0 scoring run and looked to be in control as halftime neared. During the run, Arianna Liddicoat and Baylee Barker each drained triples to give the offense momentum.
- It didn't last long, as Wisconsin Lutheran responded with 13 unanswered points during a five minute and 56 second stretch before the intermission to own a low-scoring 19-16 lead at the break. The Warriors wouldn't trail the rest of the game and extended their advantage to as many as 13 points twice in the fourth quarter.
- Freshman Clara Chambers (Mineral Point, Wis.) led the Falcons with 12 points, while senior Brianna Wagner (Fond du Lac, Wis.) added 10 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Barker (junior, Oconomowoc, Wis.) finished with nine points, three rebounds and three assists.
- Liddicoat (sophomore, Watertown, Wis.) tallied five points and five assists off the bench.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Wisconsin Lutheran led in several of the specialty statistics – 24-16 points in the paint, 14-13 points off turnovers and 10-9 in second-chance points.
- Concordia Wisconsin had previously defeated Wisconsin Lutheran six-consecutive times.

THE OPPOSITION
- Jen Dowden and Kelly Tramburg led all players with 15 points each. Dowden drained three 3-pointers, grabbed three rebounds and dished out four assists. Tramburg hauled in a game-high nine rebounds.
