TMJ4 tells story of Falcons Robert Spiering
MILWAUKEE – Last night on TMJ4, Lance Allan told the story of Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Tennis Student-Athlete Robert Spiering.
Spiering (Wauwatosa, Wis.) was struck by a car a few years ago, while studying abroad and was put into a coma for eight days. Allan tells to story of Spierings accident, along with his long recovery back, which eventually led to a successful tennis career with the Falcons.
Spiering finished this season with the Falcons with a 19-5 record as the No. 6 singles player. The 19 wins in a single season were the fifth most in program history. He also did not lose a match in conference play this season.
