Men's Tennis blanked by Lake Forest in non-conference play

JACKSON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Tennis team had its winning streak snapped Friday night, falling 9-0 in a non-conference match against Lake Forest. The loss at the Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club drops the Falcons to 4-2 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons battled in doubles play, falling in three closely-contested matches. The closest of those was at No. 1 doubles as the duo of sophomore Brad Guendel (Greendale, Wis.) and freshman Christian Docter (Madison, Wis.) dropped a 9-7 decision. The No. 2 and No. 3 doubles teams lost by scores of 8-6 and 8-5, respectively.

- Singles play was heavily in favor of the Foresters as the won all six matches in straight sets.

- The closest battle in singles came at the No. 4 position where junior Trevor Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.) fell in a 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 matchup against Dragan Trivanovic.

UP NEXT
- The Falcons will visit North Central for a non-conference match next Friday. Action is set to begin at 6 p.m.
