ORLANDO, Fla. – The Falcons finished spring break play on Thursday with matches against Bethel and Grinnell.
The Royals started the day taking all three points in doubles play.
Senior Bailey Kelly (Racine, Wis.) won the first CUW point at No. 2 singles with a 6-5 victory over Jill Winzettel.
The Falcons closed the match with junior Emma Sievers (Slinger, Wis.) downing Libby Kurtzman at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 4-6, 10-4.
Freshman Mia Andrae (Cedarburg, Wis.) topped Kally Peterson at No. 6 singles, 4-6, 7-6, 10-8.
Bethel took the match, 6-3.
CUW closed the day with a 7-2 loss to Grinnell.
Emma Sievers and Mia Andrae defeated the Pioneers at No. 3 doubles, 8-6.
Bailey Kelly and freshman Ricki Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.) earned an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.
The Falcons look to bounce back on March 31 against St. Mary's.
