
Women's Tennis stays undefeated at Concordia Chicago, Dominican
RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Tennis team defeated both Concordia Chicago and Dominican on Saturday to extend their NACC winning streak to 33 matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Falcons went 18-0 in their matches against the Cougars and Stars. CUW only lost eight games to Concordia Chicago and three games to Dominican in all their matches combined while never losing a set.
-Seniors Ashley Solberg (Waukesha, Wis.) and Bailey Kelly (Racine, Wis.) led the way at 1 and 2 singles. Solberg only lost a single game in each match (6-0, 6-1; 6-1, 6-0). Bailey won her match against Concordia Chicago 6-2, 6-1, and defeated her Dominican opponent 6-0, 6-1.
-Freshman Ricki Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.), the reigning NACC Tennis Athlete of the Week, competed at the 3 singles spot. Budewitz defeated both of her opponents 6-0, 6-0.
NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
-The Falcons compete at the ITA Regional Championship on September 21-22. They compete on both Friday and Saturday, starting both days at 9 am.
