No. 28 Wheaton defeats Wrestling in dual

MEQUON, Wis. – No. 28 Wheaton College and Concordia University Wisconsin split the first two bouts of the wrestling dual on Friday evening inside the R. John Buuck Field House before the Thunder won the next eight bouts to win in commanding fashion, 41-5.

Senior Marcus Lubner (Fredonia, Wis.) earned the Falcons only win with a 17-2 technical fall decision at 133 pounds.

Wheaton won three bouts by technical fall, two by decision, fall, forfeit and major decision.

CUW will take time off during Christmas break and returns to the mat on Thursday, Jan. 9 for dual meet at MSOE at 7 p.m.
