Women's Lacrosse, three student-athletes earn IWLCA honor

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Concordia University Wisconsin's Women's Lacrosse program and three of its student-athletes were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced.

CUW was one of 86 NCAA Division III institutions recognized for the award after earning at least a 3.0 team grade point average.

Breanne Geipel (Hartland, Wis.), Erin Lau (Cary, Ill.) and Aly Pinkos (South Milwaukee, Wis.) earned the IWLCA honor after having a 3.0 gpa or higher. The trio was part of a list that included 382 NCAA Division III student-athletes.

The Falcons had their most successful season in 2012 after finishing with a 7-8 overall record, including a 5-3 record in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference.
