Women's Golf Finishes Second on Sunday

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team hosted Marian and St. Norbert on Sunday at the Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course. The Falcons finished in second place at 342 strokes. The Sabres of Marian won the team title at 325 strokes and had the individual champion of Yinan Lu at 77 strokes. St. Norbert brought up the rear at 370 strokes.

Junior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) finished in third place at 81 strokes.

Freshman Ava Litkey (Kenosha, Wis.) secured a fifth-place finish at 83 strokes.

Senior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) was in sixth place at 84 strokes.

Sophomore Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) walked into the clubhouse at 94 strokes in 12th place.

Freshman Mady Doering (Appleton, Wis.) recorded a round of 104 strokes in 15th place.

In 16th place was junior Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) at 107 strokes.

Freshman Natalie Backman (Park Rapids, Minn.) finished the day at 110 strokes in 17th place.

Junior Joy Craig (Lake Orion, Mich.) rounded out the flock in 18th place at 111 strokes.

The Falcons return to action on Friday at the Midwest Region Fall Classic.
