Women's Golf Finishes Fifth at Marian

FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team finished up play at the Marian Invitational on Saturday. The Falcons held onto their spot in fifth place at 747 strokes. Lake Forest held on for the team title at 676 strokes.

Junior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) dropped seven strokes from Friday with a round of 85 strokes on Saturday to finish in 13th place at 177 strokes.

Freshman Ava Litkey (Kenosha, Wis.) finished in 18th place with 184 strokes on the weekend after a round of 96 on Saturday.

In 24th place was sophomore Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) with her second round of 94 at 188 strokes.

Freshman Mady Doering (Appleton, Wis.) shot a round of 191 strokes on Saturday to finish in 32nd place at 201 strokes.

Junior Joy Craig (Lake Orion, Mich.) collected 115 strokes on Saturday to finish in 40th place at 222 strokes.

Freshman Natalie Backman (Park Rapids, Minn.) dropped 21 strokes from Friday with 102 strokes on Saturday to finish in 43rd place at 225 strokes.

Junior Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) finished the tournament in 44th place at 239 strokes after a Saturday at 122 strokes.

The Falcons return to action on Friday at the Midwest Region Fall Classic.
