Women's Golf Opens Marian Invite in Fifth Place

FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team opened play at the Marian Invite on Friday morning. The Falcons are currently in fifth place at 371 strokes. Lafe Forest currently leads the tournament at 336 strokes.

Freshman Ava Litkey (Kenosha, Wis.) posted the best round of the day for Concordia at 88 strokes in 12th place.

Senior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbors, Ill.) is currently in 18th place at 91 strokes.

Following right behind was junior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) in 19th place at 92 strokes.

Sophomore Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) made it to the clubhouse with 94 strokes in 23rd place.

Freshman Mady Doering (Appleton, Wis.) shot 100 strokes on Friday and is in 32nd place.

In 40th place is junior Joy Craig (Lake Orion, Mich.) with 107 strokes.

Junior Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) collected 117 strokes in 45th place.

Freshman Natalie Backman (Park Rapids, Minn.) rounded out the flock in 47th place at 123 strokes.

The Falcons look to continue to climb up the leaderboard on Saturday when they close out the Marian Invite.
