Falcons cruise to easy Senior Day victory

MEQUON, Wis. – A 22-point halftime cushion was more than enough for Concordia Wisconsin during a convincing 81-48 victory over Aurora on Senior Day inside the R. John Buuck Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A pair of 19-point quarters to begin the game and stellar defense allowed the Falcons to pull in front by 22 points heading into the locker room at halftime (38-16). They would continue to run away with 24 points third period and lead by as many as 34 points before clearing the bench.
- Concordia Wisconsin had 16 points see action in the victory, with all but two finding the scoring column. They shot 46.4 percent and held Aurora to 32.1 percent. As well, the Falcons had a considerable advantage in free throw shooting, making 22-of-32 compared to the Spartans 9-of-13 makes.
- Senior Samantha Blissett (Springfield, Ill.) had six points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals; while senior Taylor DeLong (Milwaukee, Wis.) posted five points and five rebounds.
- Sophomore Baylee Barker (Oconomowoc, Wis.) had a career-high 23 points (four 3-pointers, 7-of-7 free throws) to go along with three rebounds, career-best five assists and three steals.
- Junior Audrey Scharmer (Winona, Minn.) had another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
