Falcons Eat Up Eagles

MADISON, Wis. – The CUW men's volleyball team continued their conference schedule with a matchup against Edgewood on Wednesday night. The Falcons came away with the sweep victory over the Eagles with final scores of 29-27, 25-21, and 25-19.

The first set saw extra points with a 29-27 final. Both freshman Ben Kayser (Milwaukee, Wis.) and junior Spencer Herman (Kimberly, Wis.) led the Falcons with five kills each. The Blue and White scored 19 of their 29 points in the set.

The flock scored 19 of their points in the second set as well which saw a 25-21 final. Herman led the set again with four kills. The Blue and White had 14 total kills in the set.

The Falcons closed out the match with a 25-19 set. Herman led once again with five kills bringing his three-set total to 14. He also added three service aces and five digs to his line.

Sophomore Logan Kebisek (Brookfield, Wis.) recorded 29 of the 35 Falcon assists in the match. He also added one ace and 11 digs for another double-double on the season.

Sophomore Lucas Beres (Germantown, Wis.) put up seven assist blocks on the evening.

The Blue and White head home for a matchup with MSOE on Friday before heading to New York next week.
