Lucas Beres Claims Multiple Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – Sophomore Lucas Beres claimed multiple honors on Tuesday morning. The middle blocker from Germantown, Wisconsin, was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Defensive Player of the Week and was also named to the FrogJump Volleyball Team of the Week.
Beres was named to the CUW Invite All-Tournament Team with 13 kills, three assists, three service aces, four digs and 18 blocks.
He also hit .513 on the week, including .625 against Mount Union.
Against UC Santa Cruz, he recorded 10 blocks.
This is the first time that he has claimed the honor from FrogJump and the second time in his career that he claimed the NACC honor.
