Men’s Track & Field battles at UWO Titan Challenge

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The CUW men took advantage of one last tune-up before the NACC Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titan Challenge on Saturday. The Falcons finished in ninth place out of the 13 teams with six points. The No. 1-ranked Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans secured the title with 157.5 points.

Senior Samual Spranger (Fond du Lac, Wis.) had the third-fastest time in the 400-meter dash at 50.29. He also crossed the finish line 23.03 in the 200-meter dash in 15th place.

In the triple jump, freshman Konnor Kingsmore (Colorado Spring, Colo.) finished in ninth-place at 13.07 meters.

CUW closed the day with a ninth-place finish in the 4x400 meter relay. The team of junior Emmett Williams (Hartford, Wis.), sophomore Josh Horst (Evansville, Ind.), sophomore Jack Kral (Kohler, Wis.) and freshman Zach Heckman (Sussex, Wis.) clocked in at 3:52.47

Junior Brandon Hargis (Henderson, Nev.) had a mark of 14.30 meters in the shot put in 14th place.

Sophomore Gideon Cain (Cedarburg, Wis.) posted a mark of 13.04 meters in the weight throw on Saturday to lead CUW in 29th place.

Senior Henry Jensen (Muskego, Wis.) led CUW in the 60-meter hurdles in 27th place at 9.89.

Sophomore William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) landed a 28th-place finish in the mile run at 4:42.38.

The Blue and White will compete at the NACC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, hosted by the Falcons.
