Falcons finish fourth at NACC Championships

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Falcons collected 55.5 points at the NACC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday. Benedictine claimed the team title.

Senior Samual Spranger earned the silver medal in the 400-meter dash at 50.50. He also notched a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash at 23.01.

The Falcons had two of the four best marks in the shot put on Saturday with Brandon Hargis at 14.05 in second place and Gideon Cain in fourth place at 13.75 meters. Cain also finished fourth in the shot put at 13.75 meters.  

CUW finished in second place in the 4x400 meter relay. The team of Henry Jensen, Christian Prohl, Preus Hasselbrook and Samual Spranger clocked in at 3:29.64.

In the high jump, Austin Lopez finished with a fourth-place mark of 1.79 meters in the high jump. He was also 12th in the long jump at 6.04 meters.

At triple jump, Konnor Kingsmore secured a fifth-place finish in the triple jump at 13.30 meters.

The Falcons recorded a fifth-place time of 11:07.93 in the distance medley relay with the team of Jack Kral, Zach Heckman, Emmett Williams and William Ebel.

In the 55-meter hurdles, Henry Jensen clocked in at 8.73 in sixth place.

William Ebel finished in ninth place at the 800-meter run at 2:04.89.

Derrick Folkman led CUW in the mile run at 5:14.33.

In 13th place in the 3000-meter run was Jack Kral at 9:40.80.

The Falcons will compete at a last chance meet next weekend.
