Men’s Tennis Topples Lawrence

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team returned to the win column on Saturday afternoon with a 7-2 victory over Lawrence. The victory sends the Blue and White to 2-3 on the young season.

The Falcons drew first blood at No. 1 doubles with an 8-2 victory for sophomore Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.).

The duo of freshman Jordan Wright (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and junior Nathan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) picked up an 8-5 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Landon Sather swept away Andrew Larson at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

Joshua Klement clobbered Hikaru Takamura at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-4.

Freshman Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) knocked down Dylan Delgado in the battle of Dylans at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-1.

Nathan Bilan blasted Yuming Zhang at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-2.

Junior Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) bounced Rahul Sabns at No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-0.

The Falcons will travel to Carroll on Friday.
