Falcons Rip Ripon in Season Opener

JACKSON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team opened the 2023 season in winning fashion. The Falcons ripped apart Ripon with a 7-2 victory.

The duo of junior Nathan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) and freshman Jordan Wright (Fort Wayne, Ind.) struck first at No. 3 doubles, with an 8-2 victory.

Senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) and sophomore Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) sank the Red Hawks and at No. 1 doubles, 8-5.

Junior Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) and freshman Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) closed the book on doubles play with an 8-4 victory after trailing, 3-4, at No. 2 doubles.

Landon Sather made quick work of Caleb Slippel at No. 1 singles, with a 6-0, 6-2 victory.

Dylan Nadolski knocked down Austin Stevens at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-2.

Jordan Wright ran over Jack Ives at No. 6 singles, 2-6, 6-2, 10-5.

At No. 5 singles, Isaac Bruins picked up the final point for the Blue and White over Casey Bryant, 6-0, 6-3.

The Falcons are back in action again at Carthage against Wisconsin-La Crosse and Carthage.
