Landon Sather Secures NACC Weekly Honor

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its weekly Student-Athlete of the Week Awards on Tuesday morning. Landon Sather was voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for men's tennis by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A sophomore from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sather is securing the title for the first time this season and the second time in his career.

Sather went 2-2 last week during a challenging weekend on the courts for the Falcons. Rebounding from a pair of tough losses against Carthage, he picked up a pair of victories in a 7-2 CUW loss to Wisconsin-La Crosse. Sather paired with Joshua Klement for an 8-7 (3) win at No. 1 doubles, then topped Alex Moore, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 1 singles.

Sather and the Falcons compete again on Saturday against Lawrence.
