Men's Tennis bests St. Norbert, falls to UW-La Crosse

JACKSON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin Falcons split their matches on Saturday, first falling 7-2 to the UW-La Crosse Eagles before defeating the St. Norbert Green Knights 9-0.

- Order of Finish: Doubles (2,3,1), Singles (4,1,2,3,6,5) | Doubles (2,1,3), Singles (6,2,1,3,5,4)
- Records: Falcons 4-5, Eagles 6-2, Green Knights 2-4

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In their match against UW-La Crosse, the Falcons earned a point in the doubles competition from the team of Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) and Nathan Raskin (Shorewood, Wis.) as they won their No. 3 match 8-4.
- Nolan Rademacher (Monument, Colo.) won his No. 2 singles match 7-6 (10-3), 6-2 to earn a second point for the Falcons, but the Eagles won the match 7-2.
- The Falcons follow-up match against the Green Knights went far better as CUW swept SNC 9-0.
- In doubles, Christian Docter (Madison, Wis.) and Cole Werning (Watertown, Wis.) got the first point with an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
- Rademacher and Logan Snyder (Franklin, Wis.) followed with an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles, and the duo of Peters and Raskin completed the doubles sweep with an 8-1 victory at No. 3.
- Werning completed his singles match first with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 6.
- Rademacher earned the match-deciding fifth point with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.
- Docter won his No. 1 match 6-2, 6-1, Raskin won No. 3 (6-2, 6-2), Gabe Binversie (Plymouth, Wis.) won No. 5 (6-1, 6-1), and Peters completed the sweep with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
