Peters named NACC Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week

MILWAUKEE - Concordia Wisconsin's Tim Peters was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Peters (Slinger, Wis.) went 4-0 last week as Concordia Wisconsin split a pair of nonconference matches. In the Falcons' 7-2 win over Central (Iowa), he paired with Nathan Raskin (Shorewood, Wis.) for an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles, then outlasted Brad DiLeo for a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (4) win at No. 5 singles. Against North Central (Ill.), the sophomore accounted for both CUW wins in the 7-2 loss. He again paired with Raskin for an 8-7 win at No. 3 doubles and registered a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (8) win over Lucas Pindak at No. 5 singles.

The conference weekly honor is the first of Peters' career.
