Cropper's overtime winner leads to NACC Weekly Award

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin junior midfielder Sean Cropper has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of October 12-18, the league office announced Monday.

Cropper (Green Bay, Wis.) had undoubtedly the biggest goal of his career in Saturday's 1-0 win over Dominican. With the match scoreless in overtime, Cropper struck for the game-winner 2:54 into the extra session, helping lift the Falcons to the top of the NACC standings.

Cropper also scored in the Falcons first match last week, an 11-0 win over Rockford. He now has three goals on the season.

The weekly award was the second straight for the Falcons as senior Alec Brew took home the honors last week.

Cropper and the Falcons return to action tomorrow for a NACC matchup against Marian, which will also be Senior Day. The Falcons and Sabres are set for a 3:30 p.m. start from Fitting Field.
