Men's Lacrosse Season Preview

MEQUON, Wis. - As the CUW men's lacrosse team gears up for their 2023 season, the Falcons have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming year.

After a record-setting 2022 campaign, the Falcons are poised for another outstanding year.  Seven Falcons claimed NACC Honors as well as the 2022 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Team Academic Award.

Heading into the new season, the Falcons were picked second in the conference in the preseason poll.  They return six of their top-seven point-getters for the 2022 season with sophomores Max Esposito (Gaithersburg, Md.), Chase Drexler (Vernon Hills, Ill.), Pat Ryan (Western Springs, Ill.), and Gio Nowotarski (Reading, Pa.), junior Caleb Ruger (Grafton, Wis.), and senior Jack Gromosky (Danville, Ind.).  Together these six combined for 170 of the 329 total Falcon points.

The Blue and White kick off their season on Saturday afternoon with a matchup at Monmouth.
