Men’s Lacrosse 2021 Season Review

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW men's lacrosse team was able to compete in 12 competition dates in the 2021 season. 

The Falcons competed in the NACC for the inaugural year of the conference.

Three Falcons were named to the All-NACC team including seniors Keijo Day (Esko, Minn.) and Donovan Harper (Yorba Linda, Calif.) as well as sophomore Jason Borchert (Cottage Grove, Wis.).

Senior goalie, Alex Loding (Mundelein, Ill.), led all goalies in the NACC with a 60.8 conference save percentage on the 2021 season.  He also had the eighth-best save percentage in NCAA Division III at 63.8.

Senior Keijo Day led the Falcons in season goals netting 30 goals as well as assisting 18 others.  Day had 59 shots on goal giving him a 57.8 shots on goal percentage.

The team posted their highest goal total on the season on April 9 in a 21-4 victory at Concordia Chicago.

The Falcons return to action in February of 2022 in a home competition against the Calvin Knights.
