MSOE raids Men’s Lacrosse for a victory

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Falcons came into Milwaukee hot as they were able to put the first point on the board with a goal from senior Donovan Harper (Yorba Linda, Calif.), assisted by senior Taitum Priewe (Janesville, Wis.), with 12:31 on the clock

Concordia would extend their lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal by Priewe seven minutes into the game.

MSOE then scored two goals in the first quarter to tie the Falcons 2-2 going into the second quarter.

Senior Keijo Day (Esko, Minn.) made his appearance on the scoresheet with an unassisted goal in the first minute of the second quarter.

MSOE would tie up the score 3-3 halfway through the second quarter.

Priewe would have himself a day with another goal with 11 minutes left in the half.

Harper added another goal with two minutes left in the half, but this time it was assisted by freshman Caleb Ruger (Grafton, Wis.).

The Falcons led the Raiders going into halftime, 5-4.

MSOE struck first in the second half to tie the game 5-5.

Concordia would fire back with a goal scored by sophomore Jack Gromosky (Danville, Ind.) with 11 minutes left in the third quarter.

Day then fired a goal with two minutes left in the third period, assisted by Harper.

The two teams would head into the fourth quarter tied at seven.

MSOE was able to pull away with a 9-7 victory over the Falcons.

Day, Harper, and Priewe shared two goals each for the Falcons, and Gromosky had one.

Senior Alex Loding (Mundelein, Ill.) played all 60 minutes, seeing 23 shots and saving 14.

Concordia tallied 24 shots for the game, compared to MSOE's 40.

The Blue and White will be back at home on Saturday, April 17 with a noon matchup against Benedictine.
