Falcons open NCAA Tournament against Denison

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW men's lacrosse team will open the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament against Denison in the second round. The game will be played at Denison at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium on Wednesday, May 8.

The Falcons are making their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. The Blue and White earned the Midwest Lacrosse Conference automatic bid with a 9-7 victory over Aurora on Saturday.

CUW is riding a program record 10-game winning streak heading into the NCAA Tournament and are 15-3 on the season. The 15 victories are a program record.

Denison enters the NCAA Tournament at 16-2 on the year and champions of the NCAC. The Big Red took care of Wooster and Ohio Wesleyan in the NCAC Tournament. The Red and White have won their last 13 games. Denison is ranked 11th in the nation in the USILA rankings and fifth in the NCAA Regional Rankings.
