MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons extended their winning streak to five-straight games on Wednesday with an 18-7 victory over Marian at Fitting Field. The victory keeps the Blue and White atop the Midwest Lacrosse Conference at 8-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Senior Jack Donnellan (Louisville, Ky.) opened the scoring just over two minutes into the game.
-After a Marian goal, the Falcons posted three-straight goals from sophomore Ryan LeFebvre (Chicago, Ill.), senior Aidan Connolly (Grayslake, Ill.) and sophomore Keijo Day (Esko, Minn.).
-The Blue and White outscored the Sabres in the second quarter, 6-1. Aiden Connolly and Keijo Day led CUW with two goals each in the quarter.
-At halftime, the Falcons led 10-3 and boasted a 34-21 shots advantage.
-The Sabres struck first in the third quarter, but the Falcons responded with a 4-0 run to close the quarter, with two man-up goals.
-Senior Garrett Wohlford (Rochester, Minn.) was a force in the net for the Falcons, recording 17 saves.
-The Falcons outshot Marian on Wednesday, 66-43. The 66 shots are a season high and the fifth most in program history.
-CUW finished the game with 39 ground balls, including six from junior Nathan Oekerman (Beaverton, Ore.).
-Aidan Connelly led CUW with a career-high seven points on five goals and two assists. Keijo Day had six points on four goals and two assists.
GAME NOTES
-The victory sends the Falcons to the 10-win mark for the sixth-straight season. All of which have been under head coach Michael Fahey.
-The 18 goals ties a season-high that was established on Saturday against Concordia Chicago.
