Gregory scores four, Men's Lacrosse falls at Brockport

BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Stephen Gregory scored four goals, three in the first half, but it wasn't enough as Concordia Wisconsin fell 8-6 in a non-conference game at Brockport on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gregory (senior, Louisville, Ky.) netted a pair of goals in the opening quarter, his second gave the Falcons a 2-1 lead. His third marker of the first half came with 12:55 to play before the intermission. Each of the three goals were unassisted, as he got past his defender in a one-on-one situation.
- The Golden Eagles led 4-3 at halftime and extended their advantage to 6-4 after 45 minutes of play. Senior Aidan Connolly (Grayslake, Ill.) added a goal to the scoreboard, with junior Warner Marquez (Danville, Calif.) assisting on the marker with 13:09 on the clock in the third.
- Brockport and Concordia Wisconsin traded a pair of goals in the final quarter of play, with sophomore Donovan Harper (Yorba Linda, Calif.) and Gregory scoring, while each assisted on the other's goal.
- Senior Garrett Wohlford (Rochester, Minn.) made 11 saves and picked up two ground balls in net. Gregory had four ground balls and senior Sebastian Leck (O'Fallon, Ill.) and sophomore Keijo Day (Esko, Minn.) each caused a pair of turnovers.
- Patrick Sheridan and Corey Choberka each scored twice for Brockport. CJ Parker caused a game-high six turnovers.

GAME NOTES
- The Falcons forced 15 turnovers, of which 11 were caused. They were also successful on the clear, converting 16-of-19 attempts.
