Falcon men host Edgewood Tuesday/ The Scouting Report

Mequon, Wis.  Edgewood has been part of the conference title chase on a regular basis … until this season.  The current Eagle squad is 5-15 overall and just 4-7 in NAC play.

Post player Joe Klocek leads the offensively-challenged Eagles with a 10.4 scoring average.  He is also the team's leading rebounder by far with a 7.2 average in conference play.  Craig Cashton is right behind with a 9.8 average.  He is second on the team in assists with 32.

Edgewood's best passer is Brett Meinecke who has assisted on 40 scores while averaging 7.4 points.  Meinecke was the only Eagle in double figures with 16 points when CUW and Edgewood met earlier this season.

As a team Edgewood is scoring just 61 points per game while allowing 69.  Opponents have shot 80 more free throws than EC and are outshooting the visitors from the line (73% to 68%) and from the floor (46% to 42%.)

Edgewood ended a three game skid with an impressive 75-63 win at Dominican this past weekend.  Justin Williams came off the Eagle bench to score 18 points in that upset victory.  CUW trounced tonight's visitors 85-64 at the Edgedome on January 17th.
