CUW’s Newton-Kemp is named All Region

Concordia senior Skip Newton-Kemp was named to the NABC Midwest All Region Team announced today. Newton-Kemp joined MSOE's Austin Meier as the only NAC players to make the elite squad.
The 6' 3 swing player completed his Falcon career as the school's #3 all-time scorer and was also #2 in career steals.
"Not bad for a defensive specialist who scored 97 points as a freshman," quipped Coach Shawn Cassidy.
Newton-Kemp helped lead CUW to a perfect (16-0) conference season and a berth in the NCAA National Tournament.
