Weekly Preview: Baseball with two key NACC doubleheaders this weekend
MEQUON, Wis. - Following a 2-2 week, including two NACC losses at Marian, the Concordia University Wisconsin Baseball team heads into an important week that will conclude with four league games. The Falcons currently sit in fifth place in the NACC standings, but just two games separate the teams in fourth through ninth right now. The top six teams qualify for the NACC Tournament, set to begin May 7 at Kapco Park.
Two of the team's near CUW in the standings are on the schedule this weekend as it will play Edgewood in a doubleheader Saturday before hosting Wisconsin Lutheran in a twinbill Sunday. The Eagles sit one game up on the Falcons in the NACC standings, while the Warriors are one game back. All three teams have six league games remaining.
