Baseball weekly preview: Conference opener highlights week for Falcons
MEQUON, Wis. - Following a 4-6 spring trip, the Concordia University Wisconsin Baseball team is back in action with six games this week. The Falcons will play four of those six contests at Kapco Park, including non-conference games against North Park (Tuesday) and Northland (Wednesday).
Over the weekend CUW will jump into conference seasons, including a home doubleheader Saturday against defending NACC champion, Concordia Chicago. The matchup with the Cougars will be a rematch of last year's NACC Championship game, won by CUC 8-2.
CUW will end the week with a visit to Dominican for a NACC twinbill. Last season, the Falcons and Stars played to a 2-2 record, two of those matchups coming in the NACC Tournament.
