Women’s Tennis remains undefeated in NACC play after a pair of wins

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin hosted Lakeland College at home Saturday morning, then traveled to Mount Mary later that afternoon and came away with two Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference wins in the process.

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons opened the day hosting Lakeland and blanked the Muskies, 9-0.
- Sophomore Hannah Tresedder (Kingsford, Mich.), freshman Bailey Kelly (Racine, Wis.) and junior Michaela Wagner (Oswego, Ill.) blanked their opponents in their respective singles matches against Lakeland.
- In the doubles matches, CUW won all three matches by scores of 8-1.
- The Falcons continued their dominance from the mornings competition, as they blanked Mount Mary, 9-0.
- CUW's No. 2 and No. 3 doubles blanked their opponents, winning their matches by scores of 8-0.
- In the singles matches, not one Falcon player allowed more than three points to be scored against them in the victory over Mount Mary.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Freshman Ashley Solberg (Waukesha, Wis.) got her first two singles wins of her career playing at the No. 1 singles.
- Wagner, Tresedder and Kelly only allowed one point to be scored against them against the Muskies, after not allowing a point against them in their singles matches. Kelly and Solberg won 8-1 in No. 1 doubles and Wagner and Tresedder won 8-1 in No. 2 doubles.
- Junior Alisia Macioch (South St. Paul, Minn.) and Kelly only allowed one point to be scored against them all day in the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches.
